I mean, he isn't really that sexy at all - a balding regular guy. But when he struts about, having his string vest torn off him, he looks it. So take a lesson from the boyzzz, gurrlz - it's not what you've got, it's what you do with it.
I love the way that in the video women in skimpy lingerie are running around trying to snap photos of Fred shaking his tush on the catwalk, instead of being ogled on the catwalk themselves
Most of the lyrics talk about how sexy Fred is, too sexy for his car, his cat, Milan, New York and Japan, LOL. However, the song starts off 'I'm too sexy for my love, love's going to leave me'. Before the final line 'I'm too sexy for this song' on which the sound abruptly cuts (ha ha ha!), Fred repeats that line. It's not hard to read into this song the fragile anxiety of a man whose girlfriend is going, and he boosts up his ego by saying, "I don't care, I was too sexy for you, you're leaving because I'm too sexy."

The period drama version is far sexier than the Right Said Fred version which is, putting it politely, anything but! That is unless balding string vest clad guys do it for you, I prefer a little more on top and a little better dressed lol
LOL, tearing off something with ruffles is always going to do it for me over the string vest! (BTW, as you are a mom, you might like my new blog http://naokosmith.blogspot.co.uk/ ;)
