This blog isn't about sex. It's about great sex! I set it up because you only live twice, once in your dreams.

This blog is a portal to the wonderful world of web-based erotic writing. It also serves as a filter: finding stories for you to enjoy without worrying. Use both the reviews and the labels to help you identify stories which will suit your tastes. If the idea of ‘oral’ makes your stomach churn, click on ‘romance’ in the label cloud. Use the rating system: from 0 for nonsexual to XXX for eyebrow raising. (Just your eyebrows will do, thank you, sheesh!)

And use the biggest sexual organ in your body: that’s your brain, dumbo! Which bit of you do you think processes the little messages from your nerve endings in a kiss and releases the endorphins that make you go Whoopdidoo! As you read the reviews and choose stories, as you follow up other stories from those outside of this site: Think before you Click. Come Home quickly if you’re not sure about what you find. Some stories out there are far out on the wild side because humans are inventive beings –not always in nice ways.

Remember too that these are fantasy erotic stories and so the sex is always sizzling. In another life, just being close to someone you have always liked is usually enough. They won’t need a 10“ wonger or GG breasts to turn you on.

Take care of your sweet self and enjoy your dreams.

(BOGOF BDSM 1) My Lady - review

(XXX)
In this and the next post, I'm going to review two BDSM stories from the first FAWC (Friendly Anonymous Writing Competition), run by SlycWillie on the writers' board on Literotica.

I've long thought that 50 Shades of Whatever was doing a serious disservice to the BDSM world, depicting it as if domestic violence were the new sexy. Although I am not part of that community, talking it over with my fierce feminist friends during the 1980s "sex wars" had brought to me to the belief that BDSM is about engaging with the same issues of power as I deconstruct in my academic work (sorry, back to the MILFy flirty kind of writing v. soon). When I found not one but two much more realistic BDSM stories in FAWC1, I was very pleased. Now I can recommend them to people who have Got It All Wrong, instead of fumbling about in my own amateur way. (Oh, OK, if you want me to fumble with you in an amateur way we can discuss it, 'slong as you remember that I am very lazy these days and rarely get into bed for anything less than a bottle of Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque and some diamonds).

The task in FAWC1 was to write about writing. In My Lady MSTarot cleverly provided us with a fumbling amateur writer who attempts to imitate 50 Shades of Financial Success. John Perl's idea of BDSM is as poorly researched as the original 50 Shades so a friend puts him on to Clare, a Dominatrix. Invited round for dinner, John is soon being offered a ringside view of what it means to be a sub, which he finds so sexy that ... ooops! I nearly gave it away, LOL.

This is a damn sexy story, MSTarot is a damn sexy writer whose entry into the second FAWC was my top favourite (although unfortunately in the heat of the moment the protagonists of that one forgot to practice safe sex so I can't review it here). The characters are believable and sympathetic - Clare makes you feel how scary the raw power of BDSM can be. I particularly like how MSTarot discusses the way BDSM echoes power play in the world at large: "When you work any job for 'pay' your Boss is the Dom. He uses reward, be it praise or monetary, to get you to behave. When that fails he will use threat of termination to make you do more. Sometimes more than you ever thought you would agree to do. We are a society of Subs and Doms, John Perl." (I find that kinda interesting, cuz if you ask me there are a lot of managers out there who are really subs and so they are bloody poor at managing.) The sex is no-holds-barred (literally), raw and strong so this is not one for those who are likely to go 50 shades of pale at the least provocation. I would call this a good fierce Bourbon of a story, Jack Daniels No 7 rather than Maker's Mark.

The story is riddled with typos and makes me want to whip out my red pen <snerk>, but it's so good I don't care. I am going to recommend it to you especially if you want a good thrill while pretending you are just researching the strange looking glass world of BDSM.

Thank you for your kind and ever so accurate words, my lovely Naoko. The story 'My Lady' was a stepping outside the box story for me. In a very real way I was the amateur writer researching BDSM from the outside. I learned a lot in that research and tried to put as much of that as i could into the story.

However I have to protest. This is more of a Jim Beam Devil's Cut of a Bourbon story. Jack Daniels is a bit too sweet for the growing darkness I tried to put into the end of this story.

Now my other story. I didn't see them forgetting in a moment of passion. They were a committed couple for (If I remember right ) three years. They had 'relaxed' into a pregnancy prevention sex life with each other. I will point out that the moment a third party was brought into... play... he reached for a condom.

TYPOS! Okay, guilty as charged. I blame a mixture of a poor school system with the fact there was a girl in my English class I wanted to kiss.

Always a naughty pirate,
M.S.Tarot

LOL, I hope she got your piratical kiss, lucky wench!
I know the characters in The Golden Ring didn't really forget. I am obliged to be hard line about safe sex on here, and often wish I could slip a story under the covers but I am very mean on myself about it ;)
